Notes
- Seasoning Substitution: If you do not have The Spice Girl Kitchen Greek Seasoning, mix equal parts dried oregano, dried thyme, dried basil, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Why Block Feta Matters: Always use block feta. Pre-crumbled feta is coated in anti-caking agents that cause a gritty texture.
- Texture Too Thick: Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
- Texture Too Thin: Add more feta or refrigerate the dip for 20 to 30 minutes to help it firm.
- Brightening the Flavor: If you prefer more citrus, add an extra 0.5 tablespoon of lemon juice.
- Make Ahead: You can prepare this whipped feta up to 3 days in advance. Add the honey drizzle right before serving.
- Serving Ideas: Serve with crackers, crostini, pita bread, fresh vegetables, or as part of a Mediterranean appetizer board. It is also excellent spooned over grain bowls or roasted vegetables.
- Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Do not freeze. Stir before serving and add fresh honey on top.
